Located in the south of France, the Pyrenees is a long mountain range separating the Iberian peninsula from the rest of continental Europe. As a true natural border between Spain and France, it extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. If the Pyrenean peaks cannot compete with the dizzying Alpine summits, the astonishing diversity of the landscape gives all its richness to these mountains: from the imposing "Pic du Midi d'Ossau" seemingly coming out of nowhere to the "Encantats" valleys bathed in their numerous lakes, and the arid canyons of Ordessa and Anisclo to the summits of the "Vignemale", the "Néouvielle" and "Gavarnie"... Tag along for a mountainous trip in a wild region still too often underrated in western Europe.
