Rich of an important colonial past, the city of Fort Cochin is a historical town of the state of Kerala where Portuguese, Dutch and Chinese influences mix. Built on a peninsula of the tropical coast of Malabar, bordering the Lakshadweep sea, this fishing port benefits from the rich fishing resources of southern India.
