FROM KERALA TO GOA

We traversed the south-west of the Indian peninsula, of Kerala until Goa. Mainly Hindu, this ground is however the fruit of a religious co-education where several quite distinct cultures in rather various landscapes live. Thus, from Varkala to Munnar, we crossed villages of fishermen, beaches with the foot of cliffs, cities Indian with the European influences and hills of plantations of tea. Then, more in north, of Gokarna to the shores of Goa, we were attracted by the Portuguese cities and their important religious traditions, the markets and their inhabitants, until the long beaches goanaises.
